Saronic Islands - Discover the paradise on earth!


The lush green patches in the deep blue Mediterranean are a breathtaking sight! The long sandy beaches and the glimmering sun over the clear waters, the pine trees and the rich vegetation is a treat for the eyes. Bliss of abundant nature, the Saronic Islands is hard to miss.  It is a group of islands lying in the Saronic Gulf very close to Athens. This is the best alternative to Athens, the capital of Greece. It is a fantastic place for one-day trip but the overwhelming beauty mesmerizes the mind that you may decide to stay back.
The islands lie at a short distance less than an hour from Athens. You can get cruising to the islands, enjoying every moment of the trip by the ferry or a hydrofoil. The capital of the island is Agia Marina, which is a beach town that offers pubs, hotels, and lively life. It gets a little crowded over the weekends as the Athenians come to spend the holidays.
Agistri is a peaceful island and a perfect place for relaxing. It is a less popular but a fantastic host for the visitors. A beautiful place to be – clean and serene! The beautiful villages and the clean white beaches along the crystalline waters are captivating to your eyes. The tourist entertainment is the local music, taverns, hotels, restaurants and clubs. You may end up dancing along with the locals.
Hydra is a cosmopolitan village with historical mansions, churches, red tiled houses and the ancient stoned Villas. A feel of having landed in the 19th century. The island preserves the original Greek architecture. There are no great beaches, no roads, and no vehicles. Just lots of donkeys and donkey paths. Be ready for a donkey ride!
Poros has ancient structures. The double storied houses, beautiful mountains, sandy beaches and the forests make this place a heaven on earth! Enjoy the beaches, inexpensive stay, superb restaurants, water sports and more.
Spetses with the pine trees, traditional houses with colored walls and the sandy beaches takes you to a new world. Dapia is a main town where you have excellent accommodation, restaurants and can do a lot of shopping. Plan your trip to the exotic Saronic Islands and cherish the memories for a lifetime!
